‘A Mad Tea Party’ Synopsis
Allie Mad lives in the small town of Upham, New Brunswick, with her 2 cousins, Ainsley and Myrtle and her aunt Mad or “Queen” as her children “endearingly” call her. Mother Mad lives by the rules from “The Good Book” and is beside herself with rage when she finds out that her niece, who she rescued from a foster home, has stolen from her and Myrtle. Allie, in fear of her aunt’s rage, runs away from home, to the enchanted forest where she meets “Buzzbee,” a love sick narcoleptic bumblebee; Home Dawg, a homeless dog on a mission to find a master and a home; and Mad Hare, a social tea loving nomad, looking to add “your” shiny object to his collection, but first you must answer one of his riddles.
